Chinatown

Early start today (after escaping Alkatraz, long swim) for a 10am walking tour around Chinatown. Lots of history here with people immigrating over the years. Back in the day, the Chinese couldn’t even own property, but it all got sorted out after an Earthquake knocked down most of the buildings. After the tour we walked to the start of the Cable cars, and took one back to the wharf area (they aren’t trams, cables underground pull them up the hills).

Keeping with the theme, we went to a Chinese restaurant for tea which was really good, walked along the sea front for a little bit, then went to the cinema to watch Captain America.
