Walked out of the air bnb flat and the bus was waiting for us, perfect timing, to get the train to the airport.
Chicago is massive airport very busy and today we were flying with the equivalent of Ryanair of America, Spirit. One of the cabin crew was a bit of a joker saying it was the flight to Honolulu. Really good flight though better than American Airlines. Spirit are a very much no frills airline, one part which Mike particularly liked was the fact that there are no paper receipts on board and that you can log on to their website to download them. It is scary what they can do here with just one swipe of your card, surprising that they don’t have chip and pin.
Arrived in Denver and took the train, really new line, not many stops and every stop just seemed to be a massive car park, for people commuting in and out. Then after a bit of faffing we found the bus to the hotel.
Weather here seems to be a bit tropical, the clouds are heavy and scary looking in the sky, it is chucking it down one minute and bright blue skys the next.
Headed to The Cheeky Monk for food, see cover photo, really good burgers, not so great chips. It was also a Belgium beer place, with tons of beers to chose from.
