We decided in the morning to go for a jog to Central Park, from the hotel we went across the Queensboro bridge which crosses the East River and also Roosevelt Island then on to Manhattan island. There was so much going on around us, cars, trains and even a cable car too. It was only 4km to get to Central Park, however it was raining and we were a bit wet so we did a short route in and out of the park and back on the subway. Touched the smallest section of the park, it is so big.
After a quick shower we headed into Manhattan to visit the New York Public library, the place everyone goes to in the Day After Tomorrow film. It was a really beautiful building.
We then went to meet up with Mum and Aunty Joan, as they had just flown into New York and were staying near Times Square. We enjoyed an evening meal together and a bottle of wine at Olive Garden
