Exciting start to the day by putting the washing on. Then heading out to a place to get breakfast called Toast and saw Oz Park (characters from the Wizard of Oz were statues), the whole area is called Lincoln Park and its really nice.
After going back and sorting the washing we went to Lincoln Park Zoo. It was free, and interesting, and had lots of animals. The spiders aren’t kept in cages! they just don’t move out of their webs because they give them food.
When we arrived we bought a 3 day travel pass, so, to use it a little bit more we headed back into the centre went to a book shop (Books a Million) and into some of the buildings from the tour which were closed on Sundays.
Had food in The Pour House and some beers and cider too and then headed to The Second City for the improv comedy in-prov show, awesome, very funny. Second city is where quite a few people started their career, Bill Murray, John Candy…
So are you thinking a new career in comedy? Ha ha very funny!!!
